This is your orientation, designed not only to equip you with a more detailed idea as to where your physical level is before we begin, but to also provide your TEAM LEADERS with that information as well. This very important “fact finding” mission will be vital in gauging your progress & development. Evaluations usually take place the Sunday the day before training commences, and will be held at:

Included in your evaluation:

  • “Before” picture
  • Body Composition Tests
    (weight, measurements, body-fat %)
  • Strength & Endurance Test.
  • Technical Training to better prepare
    you for your Boot Camp.

 

Your BOOTCAMP session begins! 3 days a week for three weeks to challenge your mind, body, and spirit!

You will need:

  • Running shoes
    (we suggest Phidippides running shop in Encino.)
  • Cold weather out-door gear.
    (Beanies, hats, gloves, layers, layers, layers!)
  • Water
  • A POSITIVE, FIRED UP, AND MOTIVATED ATTITUDE!

Your training sessions will challenge you to push yourself to your next level, and are designed to help you achieve a total body workout. Each day will present you with different challenges, and will take place in numerous locations.

This outdoor fitness and adventure program will include any or all of the following:

  • Crawling/walking/shuffling/running
  • Calisthenics
  • Body weight resistance
  • High repetition weight resistance
  • Heart rate training
  • Interval training
  • Hill training
  • TRX Suspension Training
  • Cross Fit Training elements
  • Jump rope
  • Plyo-metrics
  • Partner drills
  • Basic kickboxing
  • Ballet based exercises
  • Yoga
  • Pilates
  • Trail hikes
  • Trail runs
  • Excursions
  • Relay races
  • Obstacle courses
  • Sand runs
  • Various stretching techniques
  • Belly-blasting abdominal work
  • Breathing and Meditation

After successfully completing your 1st session, you will never be a “GRUNT” again!
This is only the beginning, as we encourage you to take a richly deserved week off to
rest, relax, and rejuvenate, and then come back as the veteran that you are!
You will receive a complete re-evaluation, (strength & endurance tests, and
body composition tests) to see how far you have come. Each successful participant
receives the coveted VALLEY BOOTCAMP Dog Tag! For each 3-week session you receive
an additional tag. See how many YOU can get!
